February 26th, 2005 Steve Hopkins starts BuggyNews and members begin to transition over from his old (and very limited) Chinese O.R.B. Yahoo group (Chinese Off-Road Buggies). With support for messaging, photo uploading, member galleries, search-able topics and much more BN grows quickly to become the dominant resource of information and opportunities for owners of import mini buggies. Hard to believe it's been just 4 years but in internet years that's almost a lifetime!

4 years ago, I was looking into becoming a dealer after a bad experience with SUNL. I made contact with Stu at Blade. During our conversations, he mentioned this new site called Buggy News. He said there were lots of good people and good information. A good resource for people that may not know a lot about these new Chinese buggies.
Though I did not go with Blade when I became a dealer, I did meet a fellow here in the early days of the forum that got me started. Thanks, Ben. Through this forum, I have had the opportunity to talk with and correspond with people all over the world. I would never have had that chance if it were not for Steve and his love of these machines.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUGGY NEWS. I hope there are many more years to come.
