dont know what your budget is but great suspention on a 150 is a dream all of us have. if your budget is around 2100-2995.00 then carter, kinroad/blade, hammerhead or american sportworks are the top units. they all have trailer hitches, reverse, good seat belts and can be modded to have alot of bottom end power for not much money.
If you have around 3700.00-3995.00 then look at joyner 250, Blade 250, and the kinroad 300. all of these have great ride, good power, good seat belts, trailer hitches. all of them can be modded for more power.

I didn't know if maybe it had to do with the physical size of the machine. The 150's are generally narrower but if it is a matter of "stepping stones" so to speak and not the actual size, I would look into a 250 or 300 from the get-go. If you buy a 150 and then decide to sell to upgrade I'm not too sure the resale is that great. I lucked out when I sold my Crossfire. I had paid $1800 for it, rode it for about a year and then sold it for $1400. I'm not positive but I don't think that is too common.
I don't mean to get down on the 150's, they are a lot of fun, I just think the 250/300 machines are a bit more capable and provide more wow factor.

Well,If I was going to get a 250 (only bc of my area which has tight trails) I would get a HH.The suspension is not the greatest but can be up graded. It has hi/lo tanny and its built pretty good/small

I like my HH150 and really don't want a 250. But, if I did, It would be a toss up between the HH250 because of the hi/lo tranny, and a Blade 250 because....well..... just because they have been good to me as a dealer supporting my upgrades, even though I have a hammerhead!
As far as having a good mechanic on duty....that's you and us....24/7
oh yea, I almost forgot.......Preach on Chucko!!!!

I've seen a lot of modified 150cc Buggies that can take a 250cc buggy. There are so many factors that go into which one performs better it's ridiculus. A light weight 150cc with a lightweight driver has a good chance of taking a 250cc buggy...
