Ah....too bad I did not know. I could have had them waiting here for you for the ST. Anthony dunes. Located 5 miles from the dunes.
Let me know if you have any issues when you get here. I will run out and take care of you.
Unfortunately....sand is an incredible thief of horsepower. St. Anthony's is really fine. Your machine will do alright in the smaller dunes and around the lake but that will be about all. The 250s are excellent trail machines but fairly limited in the sand.
Thank you Glade. I bought in Arizona because that is where I was picking up the truck. Nathan at Arizona TNT Sports is treating me well I believe. I am looking forward to riding there in Arizona and Those pink dunes in Utah. I have never seen dunes in person!
Do you stock the MRP pipe? I am only putting it on one and am now reconsidering that. I might have to pick up another along the way. What do you think of my mods? Should I do anything else?
I am also looking at Bear Gulch, Fall Creek or Mackay Mines while in Idaho. Any opinions?

Also since you are on my route, do you do maintenance on Joyners? How backed up is your shop, I do not know how much time I will have on them when I reach Idaho, but may be in need of an oil change?

The Joyner machines come stock with a performance pipe. It is modeled after an FMF pipe. When doing the mods it is not needed and is just an unnecessary expense. That is just my preference. I have been doing mods on these Joyner 250s for 4 years now and have never seen the need for an upgraded exhaust.
You will probably need a rejet when you get here. Just give me a call when you are in the neighborhood.

The Big Hole MTN range would be a good place to ride. It is old logging roads and you could ride for a week and never see it all. For camping, there is Green Canyon Hot springs. Swimming and such.
Thanks Glade. I was wanting to remove the catalytic converter on the 09. Heard the pipe did not make a difference on the 08's and older. Hope it was not a waste of $350.00. We will see one has it one does not. This is a trip of a liftime for my father, son and myself. Any help we get is greatly appreciated. I just want to stop do some riding and take in the scenery and meet some people.

It is not just the pipe that makes the difference in the performance. The stock air box is the problem on any of these carts. It is nothing but a mass of convoluted chambers that really inhibit air flow. To get maximum production from the motor you must open up the airways. Install a K&N or UNI type filter and that will compliment the ability of the pipe(even the stocker) to allow the engine to breathe.
Your dealer will need to upgrade the CVT too. You will be much happier with the added acceleration and torque available.
