I asked this question in another forum and probably should have put it here.

I want a project cart, something i can put long travel on and possible a larger motor, has anyone heard of this rail?
IT is imported by LJTech, I called them and they seem to know there stuff. it is 50+ he said REAL h.p 1.0 litre fuel injected, he is a direct importer, it seems well made, he also said the 07's have a much Better ratio in the transmission, he is in California and the old design was not powfull enough, he also said they are much lighter than the joyner, it's weight is 980lbs and they have physically weighed it. They also say Joyner lies about the weight of theres, the EPA certificate is higher than the website says.
1liter 4 cyclinder, Fuel Injected 50 h.p 4 speed, with a first gear ratio of 3.909 he said a top speed of about 70.
I have NO DOUBT the Joyner is a nicer machine, but I am going to put on my own performace parts and gussett the frame where I need it, so I need something cheaper to start with.

Any comments, seems like a great donor, or a great start.?

Check www.Team-moto.com same buggy, both Vanet and I have them. The power is good and the trans ratios are great. I blew a cv joint in an hour, but thats common for the 800cc buggies. Once a cv fix is found its a great buggy.

Look in the video section for "Team Moto 1000cc videos"

think this is the best buggy out there for the price. So far very happy with the customer service of team-moto. I would reccommend you buy from them. They are good about getting back to you as well as keeping you informed .

Is there a CV fix?
I have built rock crawlers and race ATV's for many years and i am bored.
What is breaking, the joint or the shaft.
Is the suspension over extending and putting the CV in a bind?
Has anyone tried Burfields?
I can fix the CV problem I am sure.
I guess I should order it tomorrow. Seems like a good staring point.

I promise I am not the end all be all, but I have built everything from Suzuki Samurai's to Rockwell buggies and have rigged everything in between. I will sure give it a try, you have to answer my question though. Guys it is a shaft and a U-joint we can fix that, I would think a Burfield would be a EASY awsome fix, straight off a samurai or Toyota Axle.

The joint is whats failing. If you do a search or go to the large buggy section and look around there several pictures posted of failed joints as well as discriptions of how they failed.
Van.

PS typically the inside joint is whats failing but reacently an out side joint failed on a 1000 team-moto. others are more qualified to tell you specifics since mine has not failed.

I do not see where that would be a huge fix, I need to see the part, but I have had and made my self many Cryo-streghtened axles and drive shafts. The problem with many CV shafts is they are not made to flex as much as these thing flex, and i am sure they are killing themselves on overtravel. I personally think a burfied joint would be a easy fix, you can not over extend one one a buggy this small. As soon as I get one we will see. I wonder which rep can send me one faster?

Call both and see if anyone has it in stock. I heard there may be 14 either in the US or on there way to the US. After that it may be untill 3/15 as there was a pipe that broke at the factory and delayed building.

I was just talking to Sean and he claims the factory is fine and Rob cant get the buggies anymore. I dont want to get in the middle of it since both have been good to me. But do some research before you buy from either to make sure you can get the buggy in a timely manner. I order from Rob and the buggy was within a week of when he said it would be here. Schedder ordered from Sean and I believe it was on time as well. I'd suggest calling both and getting a ETA for delivery. Hope that helps
