Got it removed. Cable measures about 51". The part that screws into the reverse housing uses a 17mm wrench to drive it in. the other part is detached as shown in the pics below.

Do you have one that'll work? Cost? Thanks!!

does your reverse box look like this. the reason I ask is I have seen some of those dunes have an internal reverse

Yes it looks similar to the unit above. Curios also - since me an a friend tore the buggy down, I cannot recall where the brace for that reverse unit goes! I know it mounts with two bolts on the unit itself - then the other single mount goes where??

I was eager to take 'er for a spin. Does the larger bore require re-jetting? I know I need to set the valve lash as well - as they're rather tight - but would that cause the motor to hesitate/miss when full throttle? Also - is it normal for these motors to have to rev kinda high to go anywhere? I know - I know - lotsa questions! :D

the two bracket go together and bolt to the mount on the engine in the pic. they should rev a little before it moves but not much.

That picture shows a side angle. I probably should of shown a different angle. The mounts do not line up...the long one coming off the reverse unit doesn't reach the block mount, nor the little bracket just below the oil fill. Curios - are there variations of the GY6 motor? Some a tad longer than others? But weird thing is - the rear mount lines up fine! Oh - do you have that reverse cable? Price? Thx!

that box takes a cable that has a sleeve over the end. I can get the cable and the sleeve, the sleeve is 12.43 and the cable is 32.00

this is how the brackets are supposed to look
