I looked like you were geared too high. Add the following and you should be able to do the hills:

39t axle sprocket with 530 single roller chain
12g variator slider weights with red main torque clutch spring
A12 torque cam

That should give you sufficient torque to spin the tires instead of stalling and slipping the clutch.

Hey Rev. I can't help you with the buggy, but I do want to say that looks like a cool little creek bed. I especially like how it just criss-crosses along the water. I could see myself soaked in a matter of seconds lol!

Big Bore Kit. Makes a huge difference if done properly with the appropriate accessories. There will be nothing that would stand in your way.

just my 2 cents....only because i have been caught in the "mod web".

before you sink $$$$ into BBK, cam, sprockets, rollers, etc. etc. maybe consider a larger engine. i don't know what style of riding you do but i would have saved some of the money i dumped into my 250 if i knew then what i know now.......

Decrease your weight. A stock Y'Dog with good tires (ITP Mudlites) and Blaster shocks will make it up that hill no problem. It looks like your buggy is very heavy.. What's that thing weight?

how's your cvt/clutch condition? I'm running 14g rollers, stock gy6 and 31T sprocket (14/40 in the trans) with 22 x 12.50w rear tires and could pull that NP--loaded weight right around 800 pounds. Something don't seem right aside from weight or engine/gearing setup.

12g sliders im not sure if they are installed right i put them in numbers down, red main spring, cdi/coil 126 jet uni filter stock muffler. 22 11 9's rear 21 7 10's front

might be wrong on the tire size of the rear.

That's a fairly tall rear tire for a 150, but not too crazy. It really struggled on that smaller hill, but you had two people onboard? Your CVT setup sounds ok. I agree with most, you may want to change your gearing.

Ahhhh. Maybe that was it. That thing just didn't have any cajones. It should do better than that.

i broke my exhaust off around a inch or so from flange
when it happened i just shut it down drifted it off the hill.
than started it back up to pull up the ramp into building
it didn't have enough power to pull up it

while your fixing exhaust you could pull the cvt cover off .the belt should tell if if there is a problem there to
you'll get it worked out we have all had your day

I don't recall where the numbers are on the sliders, but they should have some with a diagram of some sort. Iirc, the flat part should be up and the angled part of the plate should lay flat on the flat part of the slider, if that makes sense.

If the sliders are installed upside down It will not upshift all the way. (I install them upside down for hillclimbs, rough terrain or to keep my grandaughter in sight)
PGH put you in the picture (although I prefer 11 gram or lighter rollers) Without a BB kit that is at least what you need to do to run those tires- Pat

UNI filter and gutted/performance exhaust also

Looks like a GREAT place to ride. Definately something not right. Is everything sealed good? Looks like things might be getting too wet. Belt slipping?
