I hate to referance anything about the Neo Nazis page, but the 1 thing I do like is the little icon by each users name that has uploaded to their galery. When some user is referencing a picture that is in his galery, I just think it would be handey to click next to his name to view it.
I guess my Neo Nazi galery is gone now too. I dont care, I awlys felt like us buggy guys were there in strong enouigh numbers to justify getting a section for buggies. I did pass it along to them, but it didnt happen.
It is so hard to discuss things in an online community withought posting a link to let the poor guy see a picture of what you are trying to convay to him. This was strictly for the Neo Nazis twisted controlling nature, not the user for sure. Lets face it, the users is what makes a fourm valuable. The least you can do is let the users post links if they want to. They would do well to remember that. I actually feel bad for the poor SOB's that are still there looking for good buggy info. I dont even go there any more. They could not risk posting a link to here from their site, It would empty out all buggy guys in 1 swift chop! Nobody would go back .... ever !
As soon as BuggyNews.com is generely considered the central meeting place for the entire known buggy universe, wich is bound to happen, you could charge bug bucks to advertizers. Thats how you make money with a site getting thousands of hits from a very specifick market. Make it from the companies, dont ask users to submit links to videos to be able to charge other users to view them. You would really have to be Neo Nazi to do something like that!
This is by far the only spot on the net to have open discussions about buggies, that is made for buggie people, and we can post links to help each other out. What more could you want?

Before I found this site, and was still lost and confused at atvconnection site, I posted in their new forum software section on:
Fri April 29, 2005 2:40 AM (NEW!)
"I would like to see a headding of Go-Karts. It is a hard decision exactly what section is for us to post in? "
no answer from the guys who run ATV site.
Then I posted my comment here, about us buggie guys being there in sufficient numbers to justify our own section, but not getting one on: Posted: Sun May 22, 2005 8:13 am
Now ATV connection dbeck posts a reply on : Fri May 27, 2005 1:34 AM (NEW!) I'm working on a new version of the forums and you'll be able post photos and there will be a gokart section .
Could they be feeling the pressure of buggynews.com taking over? I am thinking yes. I am also willing to bet my comment here, prompted action there. Odd. A good peace of advice is if you have to have an answer from them, just ask it here and wait for the reaction. It is the quickest way to get them to respond. Now if they take there link rule and tear it up and post an apology, we might not think of them as controll freaks so much. I am still not going back anyway.
Now there is a new mark to hit on the net. I want the entire site dedicated to buggies like BuggyNews. Now they can try to play more catch up!

I do want to put some sort of direct link to personal galleries next to the users name/avatar. I'll see what I can do.
Unfortunately ATV Connection views their forums as a money making machine, and they don't really care to help their users out. If they were more concerned with their users, these things would be allowed. It's pretty obvious where their motivation is and the forum member looses out in the end. Good luck getting good info over there without them deleting it first.

They are only one step above The Sand Highway forums in that sense. I don't think I've ever seen another forum act like that before, actually and it's sad. It could be a really great place.

The first thing I just did was to add the last 4 pics that someone has uploaded to their personal gallery to the bottom of their personal profile. Go to your profile and scroll to the bottom.
That's my first step... and makes it easier to see if someone has pics in there, instead of going all the way into the gallery link only to find that nothing is there.
Step by step... getting closer.

Im not sure what you were saying about the profile settings. I went to profile and scrolled down to the bottom of the page, but im not sure what I should be looking for, or should I be changing something?

When reading messages, if you are logged in, at the bottom of each message is a little profile link. This brings you to a person's profile. There are other ways to get there as well... like clicking on the highlighted username, etc. ANYWAY.... scroll to the bottom of the user profile, and you will now see the last 4 pictures someone has uploaded to their own personal album.... or you will see a message that nothing has net been placed there.
A little easier than going clicking on another link to get to their personal album, only to find that nothing is in there. One less link to click on. Adding a symbol under the user name in messages is a little more tricky... but I'm researching it.
