You all have probably heard this before but I'm really anxious to hear all about how the first real outing with the new Phoenix 300 went and hopefully we'll get some pics and vids as well.
I can't blame rvtec888 for not wanting to take a chance with his camera but BIGE assured us that he would definitely get some video. He should, it would be a huge selling point for him.

well lets start with the weather. started raing thursday got worse thursday night. by friday there were flood warnings, severe thunderstorm warnings. friday it was raining so hard you could hardly see, friday night still raining, saturday still raning but not as bad.

rvtech got to my store at 6:00 am, still raing. we loaded up and headed out. Chester was already at Durhamtown when we got there.
still raning but lightley. we messed around awhile, started raing harder.

I told everybody it would not be a good idea to hit the trails in these conditions ( I have been riding there for 5 yeares ) but they said it will be fine. OK, so we took off down the main trail head cant hardly see where we were going.

the 300 with the 15 gram sliders, red main spring, uni and rejet did very well. by half way it was lightning and the rain was worse, remember those flood warning  . all the trails were like a giant water hole with rivers running thru. we decided to head back ( trails are 1 way only ),

so after the oh dirty diaper factor set in we headed on. I was leading the way and made it thru the first big hole, rv tech behind me. Chesters son got stuck and rv tech pulled him out with no trouble. the 300 is a beast. so we got to the top of the hill and noticed that chester was mia. so I took the boy on back to the cabin and rvtech went to get chester ( who was in my wifes 150 ).

he was stuck and the rain had gotten the coil and filter so wet the buggy could only get half throttle. rvtech pulled him out and all the way back to the cabin, up hills and thru some big mud holes with NO trouble at all.

chesters son got some video but the phone he used got ruined by the rain, mud. so I dont know if he was able to save it. I took my camera but did bnot get it out of the truck because of the rain, I am not messing up my camera, sorry.

overall the 300 is a GREAT buggy, takes jumps, deep mud and water very well. has tons of power. well worth the money.

First, I don't blame you for leaving the camera in the truck, I would too.

Second, flood warnings and you still went out, well... lets just call that dedicated

Third, Let me get this straight, rvtec pulled the DEAD 150 all the way back through the muck and hills and ... no problem? WOW! :D

I'm really sorry the weather didn't cooperate for you guys, There's always next time!

Hey rvtec, let's hear your impressions on the first time out.

Well like BIGE said, IT WAS A MESS! but it was fun as he77!
IMO the Phoenix 300 is a power horse,It will fly down and up the trails FAST! I never was able to fully open it up and It will climb a tree!
It pulled Chester up hill threw a monster mud hole about mid-thigh deep in the pouring rain, rooster tailing 10 ft high and plowed up hill with power to spare,(his weight 260+ cart 400+ ( I guess)
So probably around 700 to 800 lbs dead weight)+ about a 1000 lbs of mud sticking to us! LOL .
It has the best ride I have ever had!
I was running blind (goggles covered in red clay mud) hitting jumps at about 30 + mph and getting some big air, it was like landing on pillows!
I got home dead tired but still took the time to wash it off, pull in the garage and install my new Viper MX3000 winch on the front of it.
Now I'm ready for anything!!!!!
I am reporting honestly to everyone, You cant go wrong getting the Phoenix 300 as your next buggy.
POWER+COMFORT+RIDE+TORQE=
YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!
In my humble opinion \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Clean job on the winch, looks good. I just put mine on as well. That is a very good looking buggy, sleek. Cant wait to ride with it.

How long did it take you to clean it ? You did a heck of a job. The winch install looks good too.

I'm pretty sure I'm sold on this thing, I just have to decide where to get the money.
