This was posted in a thread months ago and now is hard to find. So in answer to some recent posts referring to "a jet chart on here somewhere"...here it is in its own thread. Hope it helps.

Reminder: The Round jet column is for (usually) stock carbs that use the round-bodied mainjet and the Mikuni Hex column is for carbs that use the short hex-bodied mainjet. Equivalent jet sizes and drill sizes are approximate but seem to be pretty close according to many who have actually tried several jets and drills. Some of the jet sizes shown don't actually exist (like a "385") but are there to fill in the spaces between actual jet sizes :wink:

If you mod your intake and exhaust for increased air flow you must also increase your fuel flow.

As you increase your altitude, you will have to decrease your fuel flow.
