Well, we were almost convinced by Tigger to visit the WI Cheese Trail, but decided to take a different route home. The first day out, we drove back to Independence, MO (suburb of Kansas City). Today we are in North Platt, NE and will be looking forward to unloading the buggies and camping in western NE tomorrow.

I could have hooked you up with some good food in Independance. Smoke House BBQ has a place in Blue Springs which is right there.
North Platte, NE is not typically a destination city. Take some pics if you can.
Are you gonna try to ride the buggies in every state between MO and WA?
I enjoyed meeting you and wife and yes the killer dogs, hope to see you guys again and thanks for the use of your manual and most of all arrive home safely. TOM

Not much in NE except flat land that has slowly been climbing east to west, so we drove to Cheyenne, WY and finally escaped the humidity - It's been a long time time since the air conditioning has not kicked on...

WY was beautiful and will require another visit. We are now in Ogden, UT. We plan on spending some time in ID, so hopefully the thunderstorms that welcomed us to UT will stay here.

I love hearing about your trip. Bet you can't wait to get back home.
I'll be in ID at the end of the month. Flying into Portland, OR, picking up my Brother-In-Law in Central Oregon then off to the Spokane, WA - Northern Idaho, Western MT area.

The next to final leg of our trip is in Ellensburg, WA. We have a favorite truck stop that has seen us often. Since we are self contained with generator and water, we are watching "Road House" with Patrick Swayze and will have a hot shower and coffee in the AM to complete the 125 mile trip home. We could have completed the trip today, but preferred to avoid returning with the holiday traffic.
