i would just like to get a new header pipe for a 2008 joyner 250cc buggy. the stock one seems to have a catalliac conveter on it. and a lot of emissions controls also, can i eliminate these and still have the performance?
yes u can eliminate it and get better perfromance. u just need to look at some of the aftermarket pipes out there. im not sure on the joyner what exactly is made for it aftermarket wise.. but u can always make one yourself if u have or know someone who has the tools to do so.. that will make it flow alot better. u will need to rejet your carb though... i have emailed west coast on the turbo to find out about price and have got no response?

that is one cool set-up!!! 18 ponies???? I thought they had at least 12 stock!!!! What do you do for fuel delivery??? With added boost comes knock and detonation...how do you adjust fuel with boost level under acceleration? No intercooler?
racemybuick , We dynoed this newer unit stock and it has 8-9hp at the wheels. Everybody rates engines at the crank so mathematically 13 crank hp. stock is correct. With our turdo it should have 24.1 hp at the crank, with the wheel dyno showing 18.6 hp. Or close to that. Fuel is corrected with a new jet and a needle adjustment. Not a big beliver in intercoolers for small cc. aplications. Also with a draw thru carburetor where do you install one? You dont want fuel going thru your cooler and de-atomizing.
ageekwithabuggy, Absolutly BMS,Roketa,Joyner any 250 with a rear facing transmission will fit this turbo kit.
It has awesome low and mid hp. gains along with the top end!!
And once again everything will be ceramic coated in and out.

Cool WC!!! I like how it looks... I didnt see the piping around teh back of the motor... You could always mount the carb after the turbo, towards the block like the older cars used to (calloway corvette!!!) lol... But I totally agree, on a 250, may be overkill!!! lol... Really clean set-up, and that is awesome that it can fit most 250's!!! I hope Boilerman420 gets on here and see's it!!!
He has a turbo from something cool and was looking into some r&d into this!!! With the turbo, do you have to run higher than 93? Is there any knock issue? how do you control the boost? And last question...what psi are you ruinning? above 4psi? Really cool set-up! Great work!!!
