I bought the mirrors at a local scooter shop. I would've prefered the stock chrome, but until they improve the design regarding how the mirror attaches to the mounting shaft I'll keep those mirrors on. The shocks I did infact get off of ebay. You have a different front suspension, a quatility set of shocks would give you a killer ride, literally. I found myself going alot faster, because of the smoother ride and improved handling. Shock mods preserve your cart.

Im not sure if joyner has changed the shocks for 08 but mine have an air schrader valve on them. Have not been able to take it out yet but I was wondering what pressure that should be set at for woops and rocky terrain.

I don't know much about shocks, but mine has a valve on them I pressed it and some oil came out. The problem is you cant get a soft ride with them, its stiff or stiffer. I'm replacing all my shocks. What they will do is ruin your joint bearings. I ordered 2 replacement bearing for the lower a-arms and found that both a-arms needed the joint bearing replace. Then I went for a ride and found that the drivers side is shot also my cart was pulling to the left something bad. So now I'm ordering 2 more for the drivers side. If you notice any wheel wobble the bearings are probably gone.

I'm waiting for Jim to get his cart back on the road sort of speak. He said he like the shocks, (Fox) but there were no whoops. He was going to give an update after riding the whoops. When I look up Fox Air shocks they dont show a size that's the i2i measurement of my/our cart. So I'm wondering which shock did Jim go with or do they actually have a shock that fits the 250cc SV.
Jim what's the part# for your shocks, or your extended and collasped lengths?

Jim, are your rear shocks 20.5"? which Fox Air shocks did you purchase 19",23" or did they have a special 20." Joyner shock with spacers, snap rings, and uni balls, basically any additional hardware for a proper fit? Thanks

I don't know what your big gripe is about the 250 joyner shocks you must have had a bad batch or something, your shocks must be bad, because the normal stock shocks are just fine for most everybody that has one. By the way, thats not oil in the shocks, thats liquid nitrogen, that your letting out.
