I'm starting to get a little worried about Joyner. I've been waiting for parts to come in for over a month now & keep getting the same story (next week it's on the water, it takes 3 weeks to get here!) With the economy the way it is I hope Joyner is ok. I am starting to look at a little retrofitting to rhino parts which might actually be better. Has anybody else had these problems?

All of the companies are having problems gettings stuff over. It's because all shipping is containerized and in this slow economy it's very hard to get space in a container for your parts, because a lot of companies aren't shipping right now. Sounds like Joyner is running out of some parts normally stocked, just like Carter did and are stating to have supply problems.

Most anything coming in by shipping container from China these days is getting hung up in Customs for extraordinarily long times, and it is out of the importer's hands.

The US is in something of a trade war with China right now over certain items (because China is flooding the market with absurdly low priced goods relative to what US companies can make them for), and Customs is taking their time admitting anything from China into the US.

Your order may or may not be on it's way as they tell you, but if it's in a larger container order on a ship it may very well be hung up somewhere and Joyner has no control over that and they shouldn't be offering dates they can't meet, but rather an actual explanation of what is really happening.

My 650 was down due to a back ordered throttle cable, but I received it in less than three weeks from when I placed the order. I have not broken many parts on mine, but everything I have ordered in the past has arrived within 10 days.

I ordered several parts from Joyner. One part was back ordered but I received it about 10 days later.

Its' good to hear some of the reasons are truly due to the economy. I do wish Joyner would keep you better informed on your orders though, the way it is now customer service should be #1 pirority. I sure hope my hubs get in soon or this boy is out some good riding & still think a rhino hub might work if it comes to that.

Well Joyner got part of my order, 1 hub off a warranty buggy. All I can do is hope the other side holds up till the parts come in. Thank You Joyner for getting me back on the trail over Thanksgiving!
