If your engine is the 2600i, it will tow the buggy without a problem. I towed a 20' boat over the mountains and a small backhoe locally with my '89 Mazda 2600i which ran 31" tall tires. It wasn't till I was planning to by a toy hauler that I needed a larger truck.

I am totally impressed with the 2000 ccs in my Mazda. It has been with me through the construction of my last 2 houses, towing probably 1000 lbs over its limits in tile, trips to the dump, etc. But it has 250K on it now, it overheats, and a myriad of dashboard Christmas lights come on in an hours drive. Just not what I feel comfy driving with a load for distances.
I had to rent a F-150 to drive my DRZ 400 to AZ to get it registered. Just didn't trust the B. Good thing to. The only thing that has ever gone wrong with it was the computer, and that went out after the trip to AZ.
Sooo, yeah, probably shiold get another truck for the haul. :)
Thanks again,
TB

Visited my buggy today and now know that a little surgery will have to be done to the mid pipe. Changed all the fluids, forgot the oil filter wrench, to get ready for the season. My problem with getting to the bash is that I leave my buggy up at my property. I only have a 90 Mazda pickup, so I have to borrow a truck and trailer from a friend when I really need to transport the buggy and heavy items. I will see if I can borrow one and definately PM you Geek for directions, etc.
Thanks for all your help. You guys are great!

just let me know we would love to see you out there its going to be a blast again this year just pm me for any info you need
