This customer sends me an email wanting a clutch for his kart that has a 5.5 hp Robin engine. Well immediately I'm thinking he needs one of the old-style centrifical type clutches for a 5/8" or 3/4" side shaft engine...you know with the built in sprocket. So I email him back and ask what size chain, shaft, etc. Well I never could understand exactly what he was wanting, cause what he was telling me didn't jive.....a clutch for a side shaft engine that had a chain and uses an 842-20-30 CVT belt? So he sends me these pictures and it's a 5.5 hp engine with a GY6 CVT and clutch. Hmmmm.....new one me. Says he bought the kart this way. Anyone ever see one like this new from the factory?
