I am about 2 hours from Turkey Bay and can't wait to get down there and ride. My DH has a Raptor 660 and goes with the guys about once a month. I just got a HH150 GT. Took it to the Cumberland Mnts this past weekend- Great riding. Lots of trails, mud and hills. This was my first time out. Question- I am having trouble climbing up hills, not slipping but just doesn't want to go, bogs down as if I was in too high a gear- is this normal for a 150? Should I have gone with a 250 ? Should a 150 HH be able to get around Turkey Bay with out any problem? It did great through mud and over rocky trails, just wouldn't climb? The HH250GT is about a grand more. Before my DH modifies it should I trade for 250
it's fairly easy to make the 150 climb very well, the 250 will give you a much improved ride though. I don't know your budget? If you don't want to sink any more money and are fairly satisfied with the 150 then I would just modify it a little. Used 250's can be bought for near $1500, (and good used Yamaha Rhino 450's can be had for just over 5k so keep that in mind before you spend too much.) Turkey bay is an excellent place for buggies!
