Yes, we will have the CF250 version of the Shorty on our next order.
Once we design something here, we send it off to the factory then, they tell us whether their machines can be adjusted cheaply to make it. Its one of the steps that drive me crazy
We're developing a KidNme exhaust system now for the 150 and has our funds tied up so it may be a little while before we can bring them in. We want to be ready for next season and have 4 new performance parts on the drawing board.
Most of this revolves around our sales (or winning the lottery) and with the economy the way it is, funds are a bit slower right now so we're nickle and dimeing our projects to get the most done for as little as we can get away with but we're hearing what you all want and are working frantically to get them all done and tested in time.
We may have to get our passports done and make a trip overseas. It may be cheaper to spend a week or so at the factory so we can skip a step. I'm going on a diet so I can fit myself in a flat rate box
Do we have any "Sugardaddy's" out there that want to invest?

So far in just a few months, KidNme has developed the shorty clutch for the CN250 and the GY6 and now have one for the CF250 that we've designed for reliability at almost half the cost of your other options. We also have a new GY6 racing belt and long shaft torque driver that helps get it to the top of the variator that Funnyman just tested for us with good results.
We also have the new CDI/Coil "all in one" for the GY6 and now have them for the 250 as well (Next week) and..
A new bell housing for the shorty that shaved almost a half pound off the original! AND.... We now have the rebuild kits for the shorty clutch (Pads, clips and new springs) so you won't ever have to buy a whole new clutch again!
As you all can tell, we aren't very happy with what we all have to choose from when it comes to performance parts so we're making our own! The good thing is we get what we want at a cheaper cost to you but when KidNme's butt is on the line, we spend a lot in R&D before putting them on the market. We already have 2 projects in the scrapper that just didn't pan out but 2 out of 8 is pretty good I think! The idea is not just to bring the prices down but to make these parts WAY better than the others available right now. We fully expect to make drastic changes in this industry and think we are already making our mark. As incentive, For the rest of the year, BN members ordering the shorty clutch kit, will get the torque spring and set of clutch springs of their choice included for just $8 more! So, stop by our new site and BUY SOME STUFF!
Kidinme I think I am going to take you up on that deal.Everything I have read on this thread and others the shorty clutch sounds to good to be true but will be a great first mod for my buggy. It will be a couple of weeks till I make the call but cant wait to pull the trigger.

Fantabulastic news on the CF Moto stuff Tom!
The trouble for me is that I am in Australia. Can you ship to Oz? I'm guessing that shipping costs would be substantial for something like a clutch kit.
Time to save some bucks.

I had this post up and deleted it but its been eating at me and now I want to know. (always looking for a gain) being that light it will have its advantage. But will it out do a High Performance clutch or is it just another in the list of High performance clutches avalible over the stock?

ljkart,
As soon as someone donates the Molassi, DR Pully or MRP to the cause I will gladly test them under the same conditions. However, I can not justify the additional $200.00 (GY6) or $150.00 (CN250) cost overhead and at $300.00 a piece I'm not willing to invest unless there is a substantial claim by anyone of these manufactures to exceed the performance seen in the Motorio.
Tom is on the right track with this product and others, developing for the demand. The demand, better performance, better cost and better quality products. With the individual replacement parts available for the clutch, the Motorio is a benefit to the consumer. The expense of replacing an entire clutch at $300.00 or an armature pad at $20.00 (Don't quote me on this price, I have not purchased it) seems that I could buy 15 armatures for the cost of a single clutch from any other manufacture. That 5 total replacements, depending on how one treats their equipment I wouldn't expect that a cluttch replacement would need to be done annually but here's the real cost comparision.
Initial cost Motorio Other $150.00 $300.00 Year1 60.00 300.00 Year2 60.00 300.00 Year3 60.00 300.00 Year 4 60.00 300.00 Year 5 60.00 300.00 Total Cost $450.00 $1800.00
This is the monetary difference that could help you pay for that next buggy you want to invest in. Are these other manufactures offering a guarantee to seek out performance improvements? You bet they are but your paying through the nose over and over with no significantly measureable performance increase for the total cost of ownership.
Like I stated I will gladly provide a performance comparision if any of the other manufactures would like to donate their clutch for the cause. Based on the cost you'll have to ask yourself if any performance upgrade is worth $1350.00 over 5years.
