100% Understood. I see your point about the cost. But that still doesn't tell me if it performs, just that it cost's less during ownership which is a great positive .....But if it doesn't perform as well as the higher end clutches whats that get you a few bucks in your pocket? Your still the one looking up the hill not climbing it. I don't know about you but I'll spend a bit more on a proven product. I have a Malossi clutch now that performs great with no issues. I would consider the "shorty clutch" if I knew it could out perform or gain over the Malossi that I have thats all I'm asking.

I hear ya, This is why we gave away so many of them and let people test them in the field. I don't believe any other company has done anything like this before and just goes to show you how confident we are about these parts. Here is one post from Overthehill about his results:

Spent most of the morning trying to run down a socket to remove the nut from the clutch. Then I had made an earlier commitment to help remove and antenna mast and kill a beer. Having accomplished all that and getting the new clutch installed, I am please to report some very impressive numbers for the clutch.
Stock Shorty Clutch/stock main 1:03:18 0:54:36 1:02:58 0:53:54 1:03:34 0:53:16 1:03:28 0:53:44 1:02:35 0:55:36 1:04:00 0:53:28 1:02:58 0:53:49 1:01:55 0:54:07 1:02:25 0:53:46 1:03:11 0:53:13 1:03:02 0:53:52 0:09:50 Average gain
On the last run the variator nut came loose and chewed the fan on the varitor as I came across the mark, so unless someone is willing to donate a cn250 stock varitor fan to the cause the remaining tests will be accomplished with the Motorio variator. But, as far as the clutch goes I'm solidly impressed with the performance increase from the hole shot and through out the run. Responsiveness going into the 90 degree turn and coming back out feels like the clutch was able to shift more rapidly and recovered better coming out of the turn. I believe this can be clearly seen in the huge decreases in times averaging + 9 second gains in a .5 mile run. Tom, I believe the clutch is a winner.
I'll get the variator in tonight and we'll run these test again with the 23 gr rollers and then again with 17 gr sliders. _________________ 2008 HH GT250S UNI/K&N Drycharger 135 main, 40 pilot HH Exhaust Motorio Shorty Clutch White Main Motorio Variator 17 gr sliders Iridium plug CVT snorkel 10" Ped Ext.

Also, don't forget, the shorty is only ONE of the new parts we have! We also have the GY6 DR2 variator (Dual angled ramps), Digital adjustable, no rev limit, CDI/Coil combo that has 10,000 volts more than stock and a, long shaft torque driver for the GY6 that is getting great results. We also have a performance bell that is way lighter than stock and helps a bunch with low end torque.
We're not just making parts to make parts, we are making them perform better than stock in every case. If it doesn't we don't sell it. We are also walking everyone throught the process as we go, on this thread so we are trying to build your trust by being as open and honest as one can be. If you want to improve your low end torque, give some of these parts a try. What do you have to lose? We stand behind these parts and have priced them lower than most. (Any other company would charge MORE for that luxury).
Tom,I will be installing the shorty today.I will run it thru the ropes as always.I will give results as it gets done. The long shaft driven is a big winner also.Maybe the name thros people for a lope, guys, you install it like a reg. pulley.Nothing else needs to be done to the trans. Thanks again Tom!

Great Funnyman, Can't wait to hear how it goes. I know you're going to be impressed. With that long shaft driven pully, I am real curious to see what more the combo gets you. I haven't coupled the long shaft with the shorty yet so it will be very interesting to see what gains you get. Good luck!

Hey Tom I tried to get a different bender for the header pipe but no luck. I'll keep checking to see what I can find. In the mean time mark and I will spend a little time on it Sun and I'll let ya know how it turns out. We have a busy day added of us and several things have fallen behind like vinny's buggy which I have to get back on as well.

Not enough time in the day
Hey buddy, don't let the pipe take away from your other projects. We're in no hurry for it. Get your stuff done and wait for a better time, its OK. I really appreciate what you've done so far and I don't want you worrying about that darn pipe, its all good!
