I have a Kindroad 250 that I upgraded to a big bore kit (300cc), k&n and took the packing out of the exhaust. it is strong, but bogs down. I have changed the jets, etc.. but cannot get it to work. Any help would be appreciated.

I did speak to THEBLADE_GUY and he suggested going with a jet kit of 140 or higher. To check the color of the spark plug and to spray carb cleaner around the engine to see if there is a vacuum leak.

I will try those out this weekend. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Running stock carb and stock cdi.

Running 150 jets and spark plug is still burning white

Tried the carb cleaner and no change in rpm. Again only bogs at mid to top end.

Thanks for all the help thus far. Any other ideas are welcome.

Well, it could be sucking air, or more likely its the completely gutted exhaust.

These buggies do not run well at all with just an empty canister for an exhaust. This has been shown to be the case over and over. Can you put some of the packing back into it?

Otherwise, you may have to get a new exhaust before you're going to be able to get the air/fuel mixture correct and get that top end power back.
