I have a kinroad Sahara xt 250 Gk2.. Was running fine... After a joyable ride, while parking it, it jumped while backing up.. Let off the gas and it died....Started right up and parked it... Two days later I thought I would adjust the idle.. Bug will not start... Checked and it is getting gas.....Starter works normal... It appears I am not getting spark to the coil... I have been checking for broken wires..... Could this be a problem with the CDI.. Or is it something worse....I live in Germany and really need some help...Thanks I will be waiting...

1. Check the contacts on the ignition switch
2. Check your fuses
The ignition switch has three positions. In the off position, it sends ground to the CDI. In the run position, it sends battery power to the CDI. In the start position, it sends power to the CDI and to the starter solenoid.

First thanks for the responce... So with the key turned to the first position I only have spark to one wire on the CDI.. The CDI is a SMBD250c with 2 connectors.... 1with two wires and the other with three.... On the 2 connector I have spark to one wire...1 wire is Black the other Black and white... Spark is on the Black wire...The wires on the other connector are green Blue and yellow and black and yellow.....I beleive the black and yellow wire goes to the coil ( if I remember correctly).. As I said before the starter works normally and all lights and everything work.... I beleive when the key is in the first position I should have spark to the coil..... I have read the problem could be CDI or even possibly the Magnitic Flywheel.. How can I eliminate the problem and keep the cost low.... Anyone have more info on the CDI..... Which wires should have spark and when. Thanks again...
