With your 150, paddles would be a waste of money. Get the 39t single or 37t double axle sprocket to drop your gearing. If you want even more bottom end, spring for the A12 cam.

Sproket, although not really, is closer to my budget

working for a tire shop, i can get a good deal on tires but the cam seems to be the way to go... what affect will it have on the top end? Where did you find the parts? I found them once, cant find them now.

My Yerf is geared down with 10g rollers, 1500 RPM torque spring, 13/40 final transmission gears. 13t engine sprocket and 39t axle sprocket. The A12 cam puts even more power in the lower RPMs - I top out around 30 MPH running 22" tires and the engine is screaming in low range. If you figure out your ratios, you should be a able to figure out your rough top speed based on mine. The Yerf now has a high range 31t axle sprocket allowing it to cruise around 40 MPH - No more waiting for the Yerf to catch up.

Just over a month before we head out to Moses Lake. Maybe to peak more interest, I will have my Yerf 150 and/or Joyner 650 for sale. Come empty handed and leave with one or two capable buggies...

Not so sure I can make it... Due to finances, my buggy is now for sale. My kid wants to go kart racing, so my toys have to go. Anyone interested? Will post it in classified section....
