I would appreciate it if everyone envolved here would keep this section to constructive comments and information involving the industry. What I hope this forum section will bring is clear cut answers, and information that will de-mystify the EPA and CARB rules that govern our sport.
Now for learning...
EDIT... that would mean refraining from comments like "greenies" or "tree huggers" or other such things. Thank you! Comments like this will be edited out to keep us on topic.

Thank you for devoting an entire board to the subject, Steve.
As I expressed to Steve in an e-mail, the primary intent of my participation here is to provide information to those in the "buggy community" about the regulations that the California Air Resources Board has approved.
I would imagine most have been to our Web site. But if not, it's:
At the bottom-left of our home page is a "Join E-Lists" link. "E-Lists" are ways you can keep yourselves informed about any news or new developments in the various things that are regulated by CARB. To subscribe, you need only to provide an e-mail address. Rest easy... you won't get SPAM. Whenever there is any "activity" (a meeting/public workshop, a change to the Web page, a proposed regulatory change, etc.) you'll receive a brief e-mail informing you, that's all.
The E-List specifically for dune buggies is the one called "orrec," which is short for Off-Road Recreational Vehicles. But, as you'll see on the E-Lists page, there are dozens of other categories which may interest you as well. You may subscribe or unsubscribe at any time.

Thanks for making your first post Andrew. We look forward to your help answering some of the questions that have been brought up in other threads on the board here. Whatever you think you can add to the discussion in order to clarify miss information, would be a great thing.
Feel free to start your own topics in this forum, or whatever you want to do. A lot of what we know is speculation, and some of it is fact at this point.
