the triangle part you grabbed with your had is what I am talking about. when it was shifted, that part moved to much, thats a problem. the shift lever on the tranny does not have to move much., it does look like you need to adjust the rod ends after you get all the play out of the tri angle part

i jacked her up and put in forward then reved the engine, where it would normaly skip and make the noise it didnt so i lined all up and then tryed again, but wouldnt go into forward or reverse ? sounded like crunching as tryed, but if i put in gear first then swich engine on seamed to be ok, but thats with no weight on it still on jacks, irll let it down and see what happerns

been told that my sonik is the same as sumin called an XL250 or maybe xling if that helps at all, got a few new vids i will post shortly as well, think am almost there in regards to solving the gear jumping prob, it seams if i push forward on the leaver and pull the rod up at the same time it doest jump out, but as u can imagine its pretty impossible to do whilist driving lol, trying washers and bigger screws and bolts at the mo, but irll sort the new vids out in a bit

Does this look right ? not sure what way the gears go in and i am also left with a thrust washer i belive its called and have no idea where it goes and why,
