Hello Everyone,

Just purchased a 2007 BMS 250cc for the wife and nieces. Buggy was in immaculate condition, not a scratch and 70 miles on it. Took it out to Stodard Wells for a shake down run. After a couple of minutes of riding the passenger side half-shaft fell out! I was able to put it back in by hand but it fell out again in a few minutes. Took it to BMS Motorsports in the City of Industry for repair. They don't seem like the place to take for repairs and aftermarket. I live in Upland in Southern California, Inland Empire area. Can you recommend a repair/upgrade shop that knows their stuff. I'm active in the off-road game and looking for a place that is at the same caliber.

Your suggestions are appreciated,

Scott

Hi Struv, and welcome to BuggyNews!

I can't help you with any SoCal shops, and am surprised that there aren't more of them out there that would promote themselves a bit more on the Internet.

Hopefully some of the SoCal folks we've got on the boards can help you with suggestions on their favorite places.

-Mike

Hi Struv

the shop I go to here in AZ is actually a Joyner dealer. He's pretty good with my BMS too, maybe you can find a joyner dealer in your area.

If you just want some BMS parts try www.bmsmotorparts.com
I've only ordered from them once, but they were quick

Actually try a dealer on this site FIRST!

There's also TXX Motorsports in Orange, but since you live in Upland, Outlet is not far from you.

are you mechanically inclined at all ? if so this is not to hard of thing to do what happend probably is that a c-clip fell out causeing the axle to slip out you can probably pull the axle and see if you can find where a c clip would have gone if you find this spot then take the part down to your local ace hardware or store that has c-clips of all sizes and get them to match one up for you and put it back on make sure the old clip is not in the joint because it may have just poped off and all you will have to do is pop it back on

good luck and if you need any more help pm me
