First of all I hope this is the right area for this topic. I just bought my son a buggy type go kart from Craigslist. It runs good, just needs a new battery, and seems to be well built. The owner bought it used from a co-worker who also bought it used and no one knows what brand it is. It looks something like the Cater but also has some simularities of the Kinroad. It is Ford blue and has a 125cc engine and was made in China. It also has a speed odometer, gas gauge, horn, lights ect. I am atempting to upload a couple of pics, if they do not work if someone could tell me how to id this kart I would greatly appriciate it.

Thank you for the info, now to check out the closest dealer so I can get a few parts and all is good. I am going to like this site as I know nothing about karts and I have already found alot of good info.

most all of us dealers can get you parts

other than the battery, one thing I know that needs replacement soon will be the reverse cable. The last owner cut it down but cut too much off, it will go into reverse but you have to hold it back.
