Just curious what oil and transmission fluid everyone is running? I run Royal Purple in both 10w-40 in motor and 75w-90 in transmission. After many miles its still purple, seems to work great. Also sometimes run half a quart of Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer with engine oil.

I run those same weight oils in my buggies.

I have been running Castrol Syntec 10w-40 in engine. But I have not changed the tranny fluid yet. It is past due, to me. 870 miles so far.

"cause you were thinkin with your dipstick, jimmy" lol that commercial sells that oil. I think synthetics in these motors and trannies is real important at making them stand up to what some of us put them through. Thanks

I hope that's not why I use it, I hope I'm smart enough to have a good reason like the cool bottle.
And, yes, I do beat the crud out of this thing... and still complain when I have problems!
