Hey all. Just joined the forum to get to know the off-road market better and to show off a new 4WD buggy I will soon be bringing to the US. Got any suggestions as to how I might best set this awesome rig in front to the forum? Thanks for the help. I am excited to show all of you something I have worked so hard to get approved for sale here. Best to all. VS

Send one to me, we'll see what breaks, and see if you can get replacement parts. 4 wheel drive-COOL! By the way, you need to identify yourself as a dealer/importer and abide by the rules.

RockRunner pointed out one of the biggest problems with new vehicles: Parts and Support. Anyone can get a container of buggies into the US, but to set up a local parts supply, warranty support and service is what will make your product sell and get positive feedback. Look at Carter, Hammerhead, Joyner, and Kinroad on how to run your operation.

Take it out and do your level best to break it. I mean your best. Try to roll it. Jump it. Full throtle on some whoops. Climb some big rough hills. Video tape all of it. Show me. You could also put up some stats on this to get us started. Then after we know what it is and what it can take, show us how your gonna support these.

If you would like to lesson the sceptical ones out here. You know the ones that will sink the whole operation on here for lack of good proof. You send something to demo for a trusted dealer that we trust. Or take a few to one of our rides so a few guy's can test it. Nothing like word of mouth from people who are trusted.

Support and parts are very important. They WILL break and when they do, your customers need to know that they can get serviced, or at least get the parts to service them themselves. If you really want to create a buzz, you should definitely take one out and get crazy in it on video. Check out awesomebuggy's website for an idea on what kind of videos will get the buzz going.

Also, you said you got them approved to sell in the U.S. How about California specifically? CARB certification is different and tougher than EPA Certs. California is the largest offroad toy market in the country, by far. 4 wheel drive interests me. Hopefully this pans out well and you bring a good product with excellent service to the US market.

:?: OK, it appears VS and his 4-wdr wonder have dropped the ball. That is not good if truly trying to raise market interest. This is a very active forum and the simple initial banter has so far been avoided by this "dealer", "importer" or "manufacturing rep." Very bad first impression. Makes the buggy users wonder if it's going to be as reliable as the posting thus far as well as what kind of support and parts availability there will be. Will they hold up to the hard use? Will there be DECENT tech support? Will there be adequate, knowledgable support with plentiful and reliable parts? Will there be any interchangable parts that are already proven and in reliable circulation?
...VS ya came in with a nice pic and decent bang but the actual explosion is leaving much in question...
