Most atv tire rec. no more than 8lbs pressure max. Here i az is nothing but a rock pile or sand thats it. Im running 6ply hole shots 2 years no problem. There also slimmed, I check your tire gauge against someone else.

dude something must be wrong with your rim. the stock tires are total junk, definitely not even comparable to ITPs. I wore the stock fronts out in a month, the rears are still handling ok. now I have ITP 589s in the front with inch and a half tall tread. where I ride I do giant drifts at high speed over rough rocky terrain and I have never had any problems, although I havent had them for a long time. Also they have helped the handling tremendously.
Inspect your rim closer or take it to a shop and see if its balanced. maybe there is a metal burr in your rim that keeps wearing thru the tire. I can assure you though 6 ply ITPs will absolutely handle the G forces + buggy weight on powerslides at full speed, I know from repeated experience.

And if all this doesn't help, there is some kinda inserts you can put in tires (little packets of something) that get used for extreme stuff in ATV's...Not sure of $$$ tho.....I don't remember anymore about them, sorry.....
