 Post subject: do i need a new torque converter belt

hey i finally got it all going and ready to drive i took it out last night it worked great. it is super fast because i have no govener on it. but the person i was rideing with said my belt was sagging. and to me it looks like it is streched out. will the belt help it when i take off to where it won't jerk then go when i am in sand i jerks a few times then goes. when i am on pavement or hard roads it takes off smooth.

Take the at the top and pull up .If you can move the the driven pulleys a part then the springs need to be adjusted or replaced.

i just replaced the spring. the belt is streched out and sags down when i am not moveing/when i am parked
