Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy a new battery for a 07 Hammerhead Twister 150 GT. The one it came with didn't last very long for some reason. The model on the existing one is GTX9A-BS 12V 9Ah. Found one at batterymart.com for $39.95 plus shipping at $12.95 but only 7 A

Your local Walmart has a conventional 12Ah battery for about $30. If you are set on a sealed unit, Bike Master makes 7-14Ah ones for $50-100.

you need to stay with at least a 9amp per hour battery. keep in mind that if you install an exhaust system you will have to relocate the battery.

Was it sealed/gel filled/AGM////// and did you get it from Batterymart? I was also looking at them, since I shake the juice out of mine now.

Actually it just a standard Batt from the dealer I purchased the buggy from. I couldn't find a 9A that would fit at BM

A battery tender is really a must have for these buggies. With the cost of batteries and not having a kick start back-up...
