Strange things happen, I would be happy if it is AC powered, easier to purchase here in Europe. How do I measure on pin2? With a standard mulitimeter set to measure AC Volts (Between earth and pin 2)?
How do I see/measure the difference?

Use your red meter lead on pin 2 and black lead on ground. With the meter set to AC voltage measure the voltage and then try again with the meter set to DC voltage.
Another way to check whether you have a DC or AC powered CDI is to follow the leads from the stator (AC windings). You will see a 4-pin connector with two or three wires for the main AC output and two single-wire connectors. One of the single connectors is the timing sensor for the flywheel magnet and the other is AC CDI power. If there is only one single-wire connector or only one of these connectors is plugged in, you have a DC powered CDI.

what do you have your valve lash set at? I understand in US measurement, it should be at .004 for both intake and exhaust... but after installing an A10 cam in my buggy, I found the best tuning at .004 intake, and .003 exhaust. Also, make sure your timing is set exactly at TDC...make sure you are not off by 1 tooth on the cam, as this could cause a loss of power.

I had a friend who helped med last time, next time I will do it my self and be extremely accurate with the tuning. I think the valves is one of the issues,
I will do three another things different to:
Test with the jets that’s recommended here
Redo the exhaust pipe fitting to the engine/cylinder, now the original plate is fitted, and the larger pipe is welded to it. I will make a new one with the same diameter all the way.
Redo the intake as pghruby suggested: " use an intake tube of 200-400mm length between the carburetor and air filter " - What filter and what diameter do you suggest?

With a 30mm carburetor, you can use a 1.5" (38mm) to 2" (51mm) two stage foam filter. You want the filter opening to be equal or bigger than the carburetor opening and reduce the size as you get closer to the carburetor if required. UNI is a popular brand in the US, but I am not sure what you have available in the EU. Both filter stages are oiled, so I like to cover the the filter with a nylon pre-filter made by Outerwears or K&N to make cleanup easier and less frequent.
First I would like to welcome you to Buggynews. As stated earlier in this post the A-9 cam would be the best cam to use,and will acheive the best top end (speed),set your valve lash at 0.08mm on both intake and exhaust.I would start with a 130 jet,but this would be at sea level and I am not sure what elevation you are at.Take your kart to a strait road where you will have 150-200 meters or further to run at wide open throttle, and bring your spark plug wrench with you. You will also want to have a clean plug installed.Accelerate quickly to wide open throttle for the total distance stated earlier ,do not let off the gas and turn engine off. You do not want the engine to idle for this will give you a false reading. Pull over and coast to a safe area, than pull your spark plug and if the carb is properly jetted the plug will be a light brown to a dark brown. You will observe the color on the rim of the plug(just below threads) and the ceramic insulater,if the color is light tan or lighter you need to go with a richer jet and if black you will need to go with a leaner jet. Hope this helps you. TOM

As you work on your buggy, document or photograph what you are doing so you do not have to rely on your memory when reassembling. If you have questions on how something is set up, take a break and send a post to the forum. Armed with fresh information and fresh view (from taking that break), you will be able to complete all of the modifications yourself.
