This is the best picture I have of the thing connected to the exhaust. I'm not sure what it is or does. I circled it in red.

I am talking about the small hose it is about 1/4" diameter. The one coming of the Y by the carb and going back towards what you have circled. It goes past the photo so can't see what it is hooked up to. That big hose is part of the crankcase ventilation.

The small hose is connected to the end of that. I will post another picture showing where it is hooked to.

Might try plugging that hose and see if anything changes.

So should that hose where the y is just be a loop from intake to the carb? I will try that and see if anything changes. Thanks for the help.

I agree, in fact I I thought I had posted that this morning but guess it didn't post.

Ok looped the line from intake to carburetor and absolutely no change. I still can't get it to even back out of the garage. Idles ok but as soon as I touch the throttle it sputters and dies. With the carburetor that was on it when I bought it i could at least drive it. It wasn't running right but at least drove. I'm thinking this Chinese piece of junk was just a waste of my money. Getting very irritated spending all this time and money with no changes. On top of that parts are very hard to find. Thinking it's just time to swap out for different engine that parts are available for or scrap the whole buggy and eat my loss.
