The new mini Polaris RZR (Registered Trademark) clone has arrived and it is sweeeet. With the heart of a buggy and the body of a UTV this is going to the top of my christmas list for my kids. I scooted over to Motobravo and took one for a test drive in their parking lot. Over the 4 foot tall grass hill and it totally rocks. Gimme, gimme, gimme. Expected retail price when the first container arrives is supposed to be $2995. I asked what the best price was if I paid a deposit now and I got mine for $2600. That is $1400 less than the Polaris RZR. Top speed on test was about 30 mph. It came with rear blinkers and brake lights stock. It did seem like the hard plastic body would crack easy and I was told that the first container was supposed to have the softer plastic body. This is only supposed to come in Candy apple red so Candy Apple Red it will be. I will update everyone once I get my ODES 170cc Blade.

The dealers up here were selling RZR 170 for 3499.00. Would like to see them side by side and compare.

We have the Polaris 170 and the only difference from the front that I can see is the front body peice is a little different. But that could also be a difference between 2010 and 2011 models. Now that may be since there is some one else putting this unit out we will get more hop up parts than what is out there now!

I'd have to see a lot more information and pictures on this replica before I'd purchase one. They look like an exact duplicate.

Did they give you any info on the motor when you test drove it? I also would wonder which air intake they used? The old style or the new one which gets air from between the seats.

Here is the update to some of your posts. Blade 170 is still running strong and no problems. I plan on putting it through several more days of abuse over the Thanksgiving weekend. If I can find someone with a Polaris RZR 170 over the christmas break then I will do a side by side comparison. If anyone is within a 100 miles of Los Angeles I will be happy to drive there to do a side by side comparison. The distributor MOTOBRAVO.us already has extra pictures and specifactions. I will post some more here also.

In regards to the air intake It looks to be in the rear and not between the seats. This could change on full production model.

JoJano is in SoCal with a mini RZR. Send him a PM and see when he is available.

I would like to order one of these for my daughter for christmas. Do you have contact info for where you bought it. I found them at another website but they don't have them in stock yet and aren't sure they will have them before christmas.
Thanks
Mike

You may want to steer clear of this dealer. Although he was advised of the forum rules, SuperSportz continued to spam our forum without regard to our process of bringing in dealers. If he doesn't respect a forum that welcomes him, what kind of respect will a customer get once he has your money?

Everything I can see from the pics, except for the body its exactly the same as the Polaris 170. I would like to have seen better pics of the motor compartment to see if it still needs snorkels for the CVT and which air intake they used, if its the old style it needs changed ASAP.

I think it looks cool, although I think that the quality is a little less than the rzr?

I would bet they come from the same factory. The Polaris 50's and 90's are made in china.

thats why I'm not sticking with Polaris on this purchase. I love my RZR, but the warranty was not acceptable. That said I would buy another in a second if anything happened to this one, just a great machine for what I like to do.
Supposed to hear back from the dealer today or tomorrow, fingers crossed.

My daughters xmas list is on the fridge and the top half of the page say MINI RZR EVEN IF MEANS NO OTHER PRESENTS!!! As a parent how can you not at least try to get it. We don't have a ton of money and business has obviously not been what it used to be so this is a real stretch for us but c'mon how psyched would you have been if your parents got this thing for you as a kid, I would have gone nuts!

That coupled with the fact that she's a good kid and you two are great parents. I know it's a present but is there any reason why you wouldn't get a used RZR 170? There are some great deals out there on some that are mod'd and other that are stock. You can save a ton of money.. Just a thought.

I've checked out the used ones, most seem to want more than this buggy is new delivered to my door. on top of that this really appears to be the updated 2011 model that Polaris isn't selling yet??? It seems to be a slighty nicer car. I see no advantage to buying the Polaris at this point, I do not have a dealer that is helpful so i'm on my own anyway.
