Hello, I just purchased an 04 Twister Hammerhead UM150 for my 8 year old, which will be her 1st experience with a buggy/go kart. Since I am completely new to this, I am looking for any advice on any common issues/problems? Any recalls? What do I need to look out for? The entire buggy (engine included) is really in great shape, there is not any mechanical issues/problems, the only issue is the front tire has a slow leak, which I plan on replacing (may replace all 4 tires) does anyone know where I can get the best price for the entire tire/rim assembly? With being new to buggies, I want to make sure that I am doing all I can to keep her safe, keep the buggy in the best working condition & know as much as I can possibly know about them, so that I can allow the buggy to "grow" with my daughter, as I plan on modifying it in the future but, for now, its more than enough for a 50lbs 8 year old girl. Any help/advice that anyone has would greatly be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

From a safety stand point, I would upgrade the seat belts. They usually are in the shape that makes them hard to adjust. Check front spindles for loose ball joints and brakes for condition.

As for tires and wheels you will have on the front 4x110 bolt pattern and the rear should be 4x137. There are several places for tires Rockymountainatvmc.com/ seems to be a decent place for tires.

As for performance you will be fine for now for an 8 year old.
