Don't know if it's the settings on my computer or what but I have to scroll halfway down the page to see the first post. There is a huge blank spot on my screen.

Try shift-reloading the page - this will force your browser to fetch the newest stylesheet. Does it still do it?

To "force" the browser to refresh pretty much everything from a web site, hold down the "shift" key on the keyboard and click the "reload-page" button in your browser controls. In Firefox it's turning-arrow to the left of the URL bar, in later versions of IE it's a green double turning-arrow to the right of the URL bar.

Or is that not what you asked? :)
