Anybody going to order ? Im thinking id like to see how they work first before I lay down 600 plus and then find out there are other unforseen issues like striping the metal in the hub or tranny. Just my first thoughts.

I already told Sean yes, and will send the check tomorrow. I even told him I'd take an early set to test if he can get them to me in a shorter time frame. I'd really like to have them for the posibility of a Feb. 18th group ride.

I may come to wish I ordered them right away. But so many I have talked to have had no axle problems so Im going to wait. Let us know what you think.

Well if I dont break them before the new ones arrive, I'll have some spare axles I'll bring to any group rides you come to. Always nice to have a spare anyway.
I know of the guys that are making these, and it is not hard to put a warranty on a quality part. This buggy does not have the torque or horsepower to break a good CV. At $600+ a set they should not break anyway... Many manufactures make CV's that can hold 1000 h.p. so making one for 55 should be elementary.

I really hope it works. From a business perspective I don't know how you offer a lifetime warranty on a part you haven't even TESTED yet.

Well, I may be skeptical, but how does lengthening the inboard splines help the geometry of the suspension in relation to binding? If any thing, it lengthens the axle, causing it to be at a steeper angle, thus causing more bind on the cv, not to mention ruducing the amount of plunge available...... As I have said before, you could make the cv's out of the hardest materials available, and they are still going to break if the geometry of the suspension is off...In a correct design, there isn't that much load on a cv joint..... Just for example, the cv's in my pilot are not chromemolly, and pushing 35 true 2 stroke hp...They have been running 18 years now, and show no signs of wear.... Before I would spend $500 on axles and cv's, I would look closely at what is causing this....Go to minnibuggy.net and ask some questions...These guys are very educated in suspension geometry, and could probably get you an answer as to what is happening, along with a solution... I personally think it is in the swing-arm design...In most applications, the pivot of the arm should be angled slightly, allowing the arm to go out as the suspension compresses, increasing the distance between the spindle and the tranny, thus reducing the amount of plunge needed...Get a solution, and get a fix....Save yourself some cash.... Here is the reason I think they will work. You dont even have to change the design, make them out of something other than pop cans and I am sure the Chineese one's would hold up. The guys that are making these do not make junk and I am 100% confident if they say they will hold up they will. I have not seen the design but I am sure it will work. But with a lifetime warranty I try to kill a set...

Again I say, I hope this works. It the problem lies in the strength of the joint it probably will. If it's in the geometry or it's bottoming out on plunge it probably won't, though they may last longer. Maybe the longer splines allow more plunge??
