I thought these shocks would be a bolt in and go, espically for 800 big ones
The 'bolt-n-go' shocks would have been nice, but I think a small amount of duct tape, and $3.00 in washers is still getting out pritty cheap too. I guess I don't mind due to me feeling like it turned out to be a pritty solid install. I'm still groving on that I found the exact size washers the Talon needed, to firm the shocks right up in the mounts.
The size of the steel inner sleeve might be different on a Blade, but I'm betting the Talon and Twister guys will have the same setup as me.
I just wanted to give a few tips to the boy's that buy a set of the Works shocks in the future, of things they may need to do as part of the install.

They do look good! How about some shocks for our 250's now?
They do have a set for the 250cc buggies too. Just tell the Works rep that he can find them in his computer under 'Blade 250cc'. He should have no problem then!

I wanted a way to monitor the level of my batteries charge. I went to Car Quest and picked up their volt meter for $17.00 (part # 81397). I like the unit, and it will 'just' fit in my dash too.
I had to remove my power outlet in order to make room for the meter.

I super glued the plug into the hole, and glued a small red piece of plastic over the plugged area for extra strength. I sanded the back of the red plastic, and the spot on the dash where I was glueing it to. The glue is much stronger bonding plastic with lots of tiny scratches in it, rather than attempting to bond two perfectly smooth surfaces togeather.
The two green wires were for the power outlet, but now are used for powering the meter and lamp. They get attached to the (pos) and (neg) posts on the meter.
The volt meter only has power when the key is turned on.
I installed a toggle switch to control the meter's lamp. It works well. Both the meter and toggle switch seem solid in the dash.
I may take the horn switch out and install some of thoes small square dash accent lights, to be run off of the same toggle switch. The switch would then be controlling all dash lights, insted of just the battery meter's lamp. Due to the Pilot wheel having the horn buttons, my dash horn button is currently disconected anyway...
I got a little wild with the glue. Kinda sloppy....
I need to go back and chip some of the extra back off....
I will never have to see my spedo sticker again!! That's big!

looks good talonman. that is the only thing i think the vapor doesn't do is voltmeter, it seems like it does everything else and adding the volt meter to it shouldn't have been too hard.
oh well, maybe with the vapor 2
good job on the install, and the idea of some type of led lighting for the dash (at night) is a good idea, i may look into something along those lines myself.
