I don't have a problem picking up some buggies on the way down. I'd have to work out something from a fuel standpoint. With just two buggies I can haul one on the small trailer and put the other in the truck bed.
The cost difference is tremendous as the 20' dual-axle beaver tail is a lot more weight to haul and at that long of a distance the decrease in MPG would be enough to make a difference.
Fuel @ 15mpg @ $3.50/gallon (which I know is high, but I need to budget that way) would be ~$260.00. Putting the larger trailer on the truck takes the 15mpg down to about 12mpg and increases the cost to ~$350.00.
Yep, here's the cool thing. If my nephew wants to go, then I'd have to bring the larger trailer, so adding another buggy to that would have little effect on that whole equation.
Man, I'm getting psyched about the whole 2008 Buggy Bash. Let's get the date set.

I was thinkin the exact same thing... If we go, chances are we would take my cousins truck, my trailer, and a couple buggies... I dunno what his plans are, but if it were just me, I could take someone along with me!
Anyway... How come ony a few are voting??? dont we have like 5000 members????

Active Members (those who have posted at least once) account for 2,124 members. More than half of those who have registered haven't posted anything. We have a total of 4322 registered members.
If you think about the number of buggies that have shown up for the Annual Bash, it's less than 75 (Some have said there were less than 50). Which means that we're getting a participation rate of somewhere around 3.5% of all registered users.
At some point we'll have to make a decision... The sooner the better for all of us.

I voted for June 19-22 for no other reason than it was the closest date. If it help get more members there, the last weekend in June would be fine with me also.
