To check this out go to { www.yamaha-motor.com/rhino } ,getting mine installed wensday and like I said doors and hand holds and labor is all Free! This is to keep your legs and arms in side the Rhino in a side rollover.

Yeah, isn't that nice of Yamaha? Ha-ha! Corporate America (or Japan, for that matter) doesn't give anything away for free. If they instituted this modification, that means that at least a few people got a nice little settlement.

True this would be my guess also. The dealer told me that all Rhinos that are sold new from now on will have doors and extra hand holds. Glad I did not jump the gun and buy some after market ones already. Most of them I checked on were up to $600.00

Exactly what I was thinking. You could hear the rumblings on the forums for years that these should have been in place from the beginning... as a standard option.

Good deal that you get it without going aftermarket like so many others have, out of caution or otherwise.

My Yamaha dealer
Surdyke Yamaha in festus mo. is giving me the run around on when I may be able to get the doors they have 35 people on a waiting list and say they are only getting a few sets a week. But they have 10 or more new machines in stock with the doors already installed.
I guesss I'll get them when they can???

Just go out and flip your Rhino and break your arm or leg, then you can sue Yamaha AND your local dealer!

Ok I'm Sorry.... my Dealer has come through and my doors are installed and ready for pickup. I guess I made enough noise.
But at least they came through. So far I'm very pleased with Surdyke Yamaha.
I still have to wait on the doors for my 2004 so we'll see how long that takes I did not buy it from them.

I like the new doors and the full cab encloser I have fits right over them for winter time rides. I do have to take the folding winshield off, the cab has it own front and rear and side windows made in it.
