So I got all that fixed now, put it back together and painted it Chrysler orange. I tried to take the harmonic balancer off, mistake with a wheel puller. It separated and is no good now. Good thing I have spare motors laying around. This time I rented a harmonic puller

Those two pieces are supposed to be one. Don't ever use a wheel puller on that. [-X

Now on to the tranny. The bell housing had a hole in in that was patched with some goopy stuff. I swapped out that one with me spare one. All is good now. Believe it or not, I cleaned that tranny for about 2 hours yesterday. You can't tell, but it is clean.

A tedious job have to tack all the way around. You can't get a good bead because it will heat up too much and warp.

I actually got a lot more done to it. Cut out all rust metal and thin metal for that matter. Now all of my cutting and welding are done. =D> I have been forgetting to take pictures lately though. I hope to put the tub on this weekend. I am tired of body work and want some mechanical work...

thats a good one, if you a spraying a very high mettalic paint or a high build primer you will need to use the biggest nozzle and cap

I'll be spraying whatever you tell me to buy from Summit Racing. I want Jet Black with a high build primer. Did you get me that list yet...

I used truck bed lining on the entire inside of the jeep. I need some better stuff in there. The Rust-Oleum brand doesn't seem too tough.

I got it running!!!!! I started it again on Thursday and had my timing light ready to time it, it started leaking.... Clutch fluid was leaking from the slave cylinder. Crap, and that is inside the bell housing and it was brand new too. So I spent all day Thursday taking the tranny back out. I got the new slave cylinder and will be putting it back in today.

Yesterday I decided to clean up the yard a bit and bring some stuff to the scrap yard, here was the result of that. I picked up one side on an extra axle and it bit me. Man, that is going to make putting in the tranny today painful...

Got the tranny back in yesterday. Now I have a rear main seal leak... Also a loud rattle/chatter coming from underneath. This thing is killing me.
