Always thought the atv sized tires on my fourseater made it look like a toy when it's actually closer to a full sized car. So I've picked up a set of 7.00x15" mini mag style tires they measure 28 1/2" tall only 7 1/2" wide but that's Ok they were bought for the desert trips to help with ground clearence and a little higher gearing for hard pack trail riding. Now I'm in the market for a set of 15x7" douglas spun aluminum wheels, Will post pics when I get them on the "car" because when it's got 15" wheels that makes it full sized right?

Those size tires are popular on VW Baja's. You may have better luck looking for automotive rims that fit your 4/115mm bolt pattern. See this thread: wheel-bolt-pattern-cross-reference-database-t29014.html

Thanks Pete, I'm going to check weight on automotive rims vs Douglas I'd like to stay as lite as possible. Plus spun aluminum looks cool. Just have a hard time biting the bullet on $400+ on rims when a set of fox shocks are still on my want list but not on the need to have list, not yet.

Check it out. Douglas doesn't make a 15" wheel with the 4x115mm bolt patern, the center hole is to big to order them as blanks. There wouldn't be much meat around the stud holes. So I checked with my local atv shop and found that ITP offers a ss212 platinum wheel that will fit. But is only offered with a 5" in set whitch will be fine for the rear but could be a bit to much for the front. For 500bucks out the door I think they'll be ordered on Monday

Tires look great Dan...they go well with the size of your buggy....How has the increased diameter affected acceleration?...I recently went to 28" tire on a 12" rim and did feel a lil sluggishness but nothing that a little more pedal pressure couldn't take care of ...

To be honest with the turbo the small tires would break traction a lot with the big tires they still break loose but acceleration doesn't seem to be a problem. Picked up a few miles per hour too GPS top speed 76mph on hard pack.

I think your EFI motor is way more efficient than my carb'd motor....now if we could only make them street legal here in cali we could make them daily drivers....

Work is still busy but planing something around presidents weekend somewhere in the desert. But don't worrie I'm trying to wear the knips off of the tires before you guys see em. I like my stuff factory clean but now it time to be well used. Thanks for the invite but my riding season runs between February to June, I know we'll all be able to meet up early next year.

Nice improvement there!
New tires can really make a buggy look like a whole new vehicle.
