Here's some more information:
Park Info: http://www.mostateparks.com/stjoe/camp.htm

Remember, no generators are allowed... period!

Park Gate Information
Campground 1 can be accessed daily between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. year-round. Registered campers can request after-hours access by contacting the park office at 573-431-1069 one day prior to their arrival.

Park Reservation System: https://www.icampmo.com/SearchPark.aspx
Next to Parks -> Select St. Joe State Park
Then select Campsite
Note: If you're looking for one of the double campsites, select Double Campsite instead of Campsite.

Off-Road Trails
The off-road vehicle (ORV) riding area is approximately 2,000 acres. It has been set aside for motorcycles, all terrain vehicles (ATVs), dune buggies and four-wheel drive vehicles. There are about 800 acres of “sand-flats,” a sand-like substance of crushed limestone. The remainder of the area is wooded hillsides that are steep in some areas. A shallow creek and other water areas are also present.

The ORV staging area is located north of the park office and has three small shelters, vault toilets, water, a change house, picnic tables and barbecue grills. Pim Lake and beach are adjacent to this area.

A $5 daily fee is required for each off road vehicle. The off-road riding area is open during the following times:

7 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily from October through March and
7 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily from April through September.

I may be pointing out the obvious here but, in this link you can click on your camp site and see what it looks like. I just think its a cool feature. If you call them for reservations they are always very helpful and informative.

What I liked about this campground is that they gave pad dimensions including slope in the descriptions.

Small stuff like that make a good weekend a little better. The guy I was on the phone with was looking at the picture while making my reservation. He was asking me what side my slide outs were on because the trees looked a little close. Simple things like that keep me going to the same place over and over. Great people and facilities. The Day Use Lot bathrooms used to be nasty but the campground bathrooms were spotless all weekend last weekend.
