The Maxxam was built along with the Carters. Many of the Hammerhead 150 parts cross over to the Carter 150, so that would be the first place to start looking.
thats where i got the part number was from a hammerhead manual. i guess carter burnt down so thats w=making it harder to find. i talked to familygokarts.com and thats what they said. i just can find anywhere else to get parts?
If u can get one call me ASAP so we can get one on the way! Lol I takes to max parts I think it was, talked to one cool guy and the other guy have me the runaround. They called me and put me on hold and got pissy with me like I was bugging them. Total bs but yea man call me and well get it figured out! 307 315 0351

the maxxam had two versions, one looked like the hammerhead jr and the other had swing arm links. the axles will not interchange, post a pic of the rear of your buggy.

I know the a HH 150s axle wil not work in your maxxam 150 buggy. I bent my axle in my HH 150 and got one out of my in-laws maxxam 150 to use till he got it fixed....the maxxams axle is offset to much and will not fit a HH 150...They wont interchange....mine is a 2007 and I think his maxxam is a 2006 or 07. I ended up ordering one from BigE.

This looks to be the axle that will work. From what I am reading, Carter and Maxxam are very similar.
I am trying to pull the axle off, to get the measurements and hopefully replace , the service manual says to pull off the axle and bearing/bearing housing as one piece. This is not possible. Any advice on how to get the bearing/bearing housing off of the axle without tearing up the bearings?
I was not sure at first that they would match but I have an axle from a 2006 Carter Talon DLX 150 IIR that is in good shape and available if you are interested.
send me a PM and maybe we can get you back on the road
