As I go about trying to fix, replace, and upgrade my Interceptor GTR 300, I'm going to redo this first post and list of parts and numbers that I use for other GTR owners. But reading the this whole thread maybe faster, as I do not always have time to edit this first post.
I have been able to get most parts and gaskets from looking up parts for the Can Am DS 250 and Eton Vector 250. While the cylinder, piston, rings, base and head gaskets are different for the 300 GTR, everything else will work for it. All of the above will work on the GTR 250. The only thing I noticed, is that the intake manifold has 1 barb instead of 2 for the vacuum lines on the ATV's. And the exhaust pipe is plumbed a little different (longer & angled) as well. Muffler appears to be the same.
Tire valve size - TR413
Headlight - HS1 Bulb & 194 Bulb: Changed all my incandescent bulbs to LED's.
Tail light - 1157 Bulb
Turn signals - 17311 Bulb : Could not locate a LED equivalent.Don't forget to change out the 2 pin flasher module to one that works LED's if you decide to go that route.
Chain - 520 size 66 links
Rear Hub - 4x137mm 24 spline
Rear Knuckle Bearings- 6205 2RS, Needs 6 total. 3 on each side.
Front Hub - 4x101.6mm(4x4)
Front Hub Bearings & Seals- Inner bearing 6202 2-RS, Inner Seal 23x37x7 (Honda #91252-030-003), Outer Bearing 6004 2-RS, Outer Seal 28x42x6
Canopy - I was able to use a BMS King Cobra top. It's really snug, but fits.
Rear Brake Rotor - Honda TRX250R will fit for the rear of the GTR 300.
Front Brake Rotor - Eric informed me that EBC brake rotor part#MD6007D works for the front.
Rear Brake Pads - Factory Stamp : CD-F183B,but I find the same pads under CD-F183D. I am using 04-11 John Deere Gator HPX pads,But you have to drill out(15/32 bit) the caliper post holes to fit the stock Carter calipers. Eric also has informed me that EBC brake pads part# FA398SV work as well.
Rollers - Stock 25x22.2 18 grams - Dr. Pulley Sliders 2522 (I went with 18g on mine)
Carburetor - Stock 26mm slide carb - I upgraded to a PZ30(30mm) carb, but you will have to port the stock intake manifold. PZ30 is the largest you can fit on the stock intake. If you don't want to port the intake manifold, then look at the PZ26 or PZ27 carbs. Look for carbs that have a cable choke and not a lever. But if you do get a lever choke, you can swap the cable choke from the stock carb over to the new one(I did).

Carter Brothers was innovative with its products but that also meant that they used some unique parts within their line. Now that Carter is gone, you will need to adapt parts from other manufacturers.
I suggest looking at the Trail Tech if you need instrumentation and gauges.

Does anybody know where to buy parts for the BMS King Cobra 150? It appears that some of those parts crossover to the GTR.
The king cobra is the old cater xp150, nothimg from that machine will fit the 300. sym builds their own engines and machines and it is not a cn 250 variant. it is a 4 valve head and a mikuni carb , that engine and the 250 was used in sym's atv's. they do build engines for other makes.

I dont know of any rotors that will fit the rear,
Thanks for the info on the SYM. The rotor is giving me fits. I've ordered 2 wrong ones this week lol. It looks like the digital speedometer, dash, switches, hood, seats, turn signals, rearview mirror, headlights, tail light, steering boot covers, pedals, front fenders and brackets, couple of other small things look the same. Some things I'm not as sure of are the canopy(even though it will have the areas for the roof lights, I'll let everyone know when it gets here), front shocks, spindles, brake calipers, tie rod ends, master cylinder, rear hub, and the seat harnesses and front shocks look similar. Are you positive nothing will crossover?

Ok, thanks for info again. I appreciate any and all help. My other buggy is going to be sold tonight(hopefully) and I can start working on this GTR 300.

My other buggy sold. Time to get started on the GTR!! Need a rear rotor and brake pads still. Did the large rotor in the center on the rear ever have a caliper??

The speedometer, canvas top, and dash decal came in today. The speedometer has the same connectors and appears to have the same colors on the wires. No N for neutral or symbol for the temp. I've got the GTR partially disassembled without the battery, fuel lines, seats, etc. on it,so I'll let everyone know later if it works or I wasted a $100 plus shipping. The canvas top fits snug, but it fits. The dash stickers are the same except for where it says Carter,it now says Yinxiang in that spot for the company. And the 12v and kill engine have been swapped. Doesn't really bother me though. Still have not been able to locate a rear rotor. Though it looks like the pads are the same as a 2010 John Deere Gator, but I cannot confirm it yet.

Have found out that a Honda TRX250R rear brake disc/rotor will fit the GTR300 rear hub. The rotor cost me $24.99 shipped off ebay. It's a couple of mm smaller, but the brake pad only rises above it about a 1/16 of an inch. I can accept that the about 98% of the pad uses the rotor. I hope this helps other GTR300 owners. The factory brake pads have CD-F183B stamped on them. You can locate them through a google search. It appears the previous owner of this GTR300 used rear brake pads from a John Deere Gator and drilled the mount holes larger,so this could be another option for others as well. I've been at a standstill for quite sometime now until I can solve my rear hub situation. The previous owner must have stripped the original hub and replaced it with another hub that doesn't allow a rotor to be installed. They just bolted up the original caliper with no rotor to grab. If anyone can help me locate a GTR300 rear hub that would be greatly appreciated.

I have cleaned and polished the original headlight lenses that had turned yellow back to clear and also changed the 194 & HS1 bulbs to LED's. I separated the lenses very carefully from the cases to clean and polish the inside as well. A Mothers powerball and Mothers headlight restorer product was used to clear these up. I used Spaz Stix mirror chrome paint to touch up any spots on the reflector. I then used black RTV sealant when I put the lenses back together with their cases. The 194 LED bulbs are amber, I just wanted to add a little color when they're lit up. But If I don't like it I'll change them out for some white 194 LED bulbs I have. They were $7 shipped for 20 pieces off ebay. The GTR uses a motorcycle headlight HS1 socket. I found a 24w/18w high/low (2500LM high) CREE LED bulb that was for a HS1 socket. They are not cheap to purchase($42-$60 each.). They have a small cooling fan on the back. They were the shortest length I could find with some type of cooling and still could not use the original wire clip to hold the back of the bulb. Had to take a small piece of metal and drill a hole for the mount screw and bend down a tab to hold the bulb securely. I originally had decided to hole-saw out the back of the headlight casing and add a PVC cap to give LED bulb more room, but after doing 1 of them I was able to see inside when it was together it was a very tight fit. So I decided to put the plastic I had drilled out back on with plastic epoxy and paint it with black plastic paint. If it does get hot enough to melt any wiring I'll have to add the cap with some ventilation too. I was not able to find LED bulbs for the turn signals, so I just decided to buy some Carbon Fiber print mini amber LED units to replace all the originals. You will have to re-wire for new connectors though. They were $12 for 4 of these shipped off ebay. I also added some mini LED (flood) light bars to replace the KC lights that were on top. They are also 18w with 1800LM. I chose these instead of one long LED light bar because-1. They draw less power 2. They're lower profile and I planned to mount these under the bar in front of the rear view mirror and not have these block my view . Also to keep them from snagging trees. 3. I had 2 sets of connections to use and the way that these mount, this will allow me to adjust the lights outward if needed. 5. Cost. These were under $30 and are waterproof with a 2 year warranty.
