Greetings from the state of Georgia. The one next to Alabama, not Russia. Have spent the last few hours reading posts on alternative parts for a Sand Spider 650 and must say that you gentlemen seem to be experts in the field of garage engineering. With that said, hope to learn a lot and will try not too ask to many odd ball question. Gafarmboy

Thanks for the kind words. I noticed that there seems to be a LARGE amount of knowledge on the board concerning everything from go-carts to full fledge sand buggies. Was given a sand Spider 650 from a local farmer who did not have the time or the inclination to make it work. So my son and I will give it a shot. Needs complete rebuild from the tranny out to the spindles so we are hoping to have it running before Christmas. Deep South.... about 35 miles from the Florida Border. Little town called Adel.

I've been through Adel heading for Moultrie a few times for car shows. But I'm up near Greenville SC. You should have some fun down that way with that Buggy!
