I saw one of them on Craigslist last night and was thinking about picking one up. However, I can't find anything on the net except two threads on here from two years ago and neither really addressed if they are reliable/tough machines?
Are repair parts readily available?
Do I have to get parts from the dealer, or is there a place I can order online?
It seems that BMS and ODES are basically the same thing?
I was going to buy a Can-Am, but if these things are a little more fun, I'd rather have this. I've grown up in a shop and have built numerous vehicles, so tinkering is sort of my obsession. I do dirt/trail/mud riding.

The ad I saw last night.

And it kinda looks like parts can be had from here?

Welcome aboard!

If it were me, I'd steer towards the BMS version since they seem to have good support and we have a member on here who is a dealer. Here's his thread.

Thanks Ron! From the pics of them it looks like they are the ODES and BMS are pretty much the same thing?

They could be made in the same China factory and just badged differently. I don't know much about either of them, but that gokartsusa does NOT have a good reputation. I don't know that I'd count on them as a parts source.

Edit: We have a fair amount of buggy riders around the St Louis area. You should join up on a ride sometime. We're going to Turkey Bay in about a month.

The place you linked for the sale had ~Ray~ sign in on the forum at one time but could/would not fully answer our questions about that buggy. Here are the links:

If your really interested in that style buggy I would go with the BMS also. I had at one time considered buying one of the odes but like you was unable to get any information. I have been over to wholesale atv. They didn't have anything in stock both times I was there. Personally I think the place is a joke. And I have talked to folks that have had problems with them.
