I saw one of them on Craigslist last night and was thinking about picking one up. However, I can't find anything on the net except two threads on here from two years ago and neither really addressed if they are reliable/tough machines? Are repair parts readily available? Do I have to get parts from the dealer, or is there a place I can order online? It seems that BMS and ODES are basically the same thing? I was going to buy a Can-Am, but if these things are a little more fun, I'd rather have this. I've grown up in a shop and have built numerous vehicles, so tinkering is sort of my obsession. I do dirt/trail/mud riding.
They could be made in the same China factory and just badged differently. I don't know much about either of them, but that gokartsusa does NOT have a good reputation. I don't know that I'd count on them as a parts source.
Edit: We have a fair amount of buggy riders around the St Louis area. You should join up on a ride sometime. We're going to Turkey Bay in about a month.

If your really interested in that style buggy I would go with the BMS also. I had at one time considered buying one of the odes but like you was unable to get any information. I have been over to wholesale atv. They didn't have anything in stock both times I was there. Personally I think the place is a joke. And I have talked to folks that have had problems with them.
