Buggy Bash 2017...

Late June, location to be determined,

Turkey Bay was a BLAST last summer, good food, lake to swim in, many new trails to ride, good people, and stories were made and some videos to back up the stories. Or disprove depending on who is telling the story.

So who is up for another bash!

I am going to Brimstone in Tn over spring break, may be a good location... never been there but will update when I get back.

Open for suggestions.

That weekend would be the first choice.

Let's see how many people agree with it.

Now, where do we want to ride?

If we do decide on TB we should get a map of all the campgrounds that we can drive to with buggys.

What about looking into this place.

Black Mountain Off road adveture area.
www.blackmountainoffroad.com

They have a zip line
150 miles of trails
Marked trails
Hill climbs
Some of the Highest trails exceed 3300 above sea level
Minutes from rental cabins, RV hookups and other amenities.

Just something to think about... if ya need the extra comforts of home.

Hard to beat that lakeside camping though at Turkey Bay.

Turkey bay is roughly 4 hours from St. Louis... ozark mountain is roughly 8 hours.

I say we go to Turkey bay.

More time to ride.

Less days of vacation driving to and from site.

Buggy Bash huh :beathorse .

Well if you can get 30 members,AND their families to attend then I would call it a Bash! Otherwise it's just another ride. In which case I won't be there till Saturday. My backup driver quit so getting time off in June is like having a root canal with no novacaine!

I think I can be there early but we need as many there early as we can or we will have what we had the last time.

I will plan on getting there early. I agree with Pa Pa Rich it is hard to hold spots in a public camp ground.

Thought it worked out alright last year. We had what, maybe one other group out there with us and they were pretty nice folks. Only had a few stragglers camped out by themselves from our group.

So for the organizers last year...

Did you contact anyone ahead of time or is it first come first serve. I know you pay at the office when you enter the park.

Food..... same as last year?
I can bring corn, and throw in on other items.
