Many cars allow you run a jumper on the diagnostic port to read blink codes on the CEL (check engine light). I don't know if it would on this one, but maybe worth a try?

Hey vegas did you build your header or buy it? I've searched and searched and just can't find anything for the f8 engine, also does anyone know what style injectors the 800s have and the flow rate?

Hey pgh I would love to try that method, I've read into it extensively and used it on a Subaru with great results, but unfortunately there is no cel or mil on my buggy so unfortunately it would do me no good unless I could find a complete schematic to figure out which is the signal wire, also has anyone tried decapping their injectors to increase flow??

Sorry for so many questions at once, I just know there has to be a way to increase power on thee engines without going turbo, there is a company in Australia that grinds a custom cam for our engines, and another guy that sells supercharger kits(minusplumbing) for 1/3 of a turbo kit cost.... I've found most of the hard stuff, I just need help with the supporting modifications...

Was it built specifically for a roketa or was it for something else that happened to fit?

HUGE FIND HERE GUYS! was searching for a head gasket for my gk-25 when I stumbled across this. http://m.ebay.com/itm/121891847655
$40 for a complete engine gasket kit and it's in the US! I just ordered mine. Is supposed to be here within the week. I'll try to let you know how it goes, but if there's anyone even remotely interested, I'd jump on it while you can! Hope this helps

Hi Buggynews,

I am new registering here on the site but have followed the forum for a little while. PGH on page 10 stated something about a programmable ECU? I just got in my stock ECU from BOB at Klung. But for future purposes I am wondering if anyone has an idea of this programmable ECU (name/model #s)?

I didn't see anything on the list for alternative cv axle. I've about to pick up a gk-40 with a cv that came apart and the only place I have found to buy a new one is from roketa for $150. Is there any better alternatives? Do the other 800cc roketas use the same axles?

For those with EFI I found a cheap fuel pump that works perfectly. It is for a Polaris RAZR 800. It is $20 on Amazon.

2005 Nissan Xterra fuel filter works and fits perfectly for the efi engines to compliment this new pump, I'll have to get the part number later if anyone wants it

Made another discovery. On my buggy, the starter solenoid was bad. I ended up removing it and just using a mower solenoid to send power to the starter and after a few tries itd fling the arm out and start. Now I don't have to do that! On eBay, a starter solenoid for a john deere 316 loader is identical! http://www.ebay.com/itm/172600385579 Got mine in today and it works great! Also the gasket kit I posted a while back fit quite well. It's a universal kit so there's some things i didnt use and there's some things it didn't include but overal, for $40 I'm satisfied.

I Have had one of these Roketa 800cc buggys for a while and have had to do a lot of work to it. This forum has been very useful to me and I think it is time to contribute a little bit.

Carburetor. Exact carb as what it comes with $90 + shipping from china. Much less than most of the other places I had been looking. It does not come with a gasket.

Brake Pads (Rear) 1983 Honda civic. As far as I can tell the caliper would work too but not 100% sure.

Forgot to mention that the pads for the rear of the buggy are from the front of the civic not the rear.
