Hello everyone, new here and seeking guidance.
I am looking to make my first buggy purchase in the near future. I have been relentlessly researching but still feel fairly lost. I have my heart set on something in the 300 - 600cc range, both budget and performance wise. Some important factors for me are:

Parts availability
Independent front and rear suspension
Ground clearance
Room for driver (I'm 6'4")
Hill climbing ability (not as important as the others)

Along with researching buggies, I have also looked into vendors. The reputable vendors list on this site is quite helpful. I really liked what I saw with the BMS Sand Sniper 400, so I emailed a vendor located in my region (Southeast US) today about the 400 and heard back almost immediately. He informed me that they do not have the 400 right now because, "BMS has informed us that it may be dropped due to issues with the transmission. They will confirm this tomorrow, presently they have held stock. " Needless to say, I was disappointed, though I suppose it is sort of a blessing in disguise that I didn't purchase one prior to the issue surfacing.

TLDR:
With this is mind, I guess my main questions are:

What new buggies are on the market that are similar to the BMS Sand Sniper 400?
I have seen a BMS Sand Sniper 500 on some sites, is it going to be available soon?
Are there any good brick and mortar dealers in the Southeast that carry these sized buggies?
What are your suggestions in the sub-$5000 price range?
