I bought a Kinroad 250 raptor for my wife for christmas last year, got it 2 weeks before christmas. She did not ride it till about 3 months later. Why? I couldnt get it to run. Powersports put me on hold , hung up on me, promised return phone calls, ect....... This is the worst company ive ever dealt with. They say "dont worry your warranty wont start till we get the ok from you that your cart is runnin good." Damaged from the beginning, in the crate, I patiently waited for parts. Make a long story short, they told me to ride it anyways, even though it wouldnt start half the time and idled too high when it did run , (no matter what i did). They sent me a carb. a new CDi, Speedo sensor , temp sensor, and finally a new thermostat , that i went to replace and there wasnt one installed form the factory. I put the thermo in and it ran good. But still went into gear hard fwd and rev, no matter what i did. Tore tranny down and found loose bolt. Now o.k. again . I think . Went on a trip and broke down, had to be towed bach to truck. Tranny again. Input shaft. WoW! Ordered that for kinroad, and worked fine. 2-3 Hrs. riding time later, tranny out again. When i started having all these tranny probs. they told me my warranty is up. What , i just got it runnin, but they wouldnt budge , even after my credit card co. got involved. Beleive it or not this is a short story of what happened. PEOPLE, DO NOT BUY FROM POWERSPORTSMAX.COM

might be the coupler between the tranny and the engibe , I have seen them strip the threads out.

Sorry to hear about your poor experience with the buggy and the dealer that you bought it through. If there is anything that Eric(Bige) and I can do to assist, please don't hesitate to ask.

Can you be more specific on the tranny issue.

Tranny is messed up, I know these parts are bad.
The whole gearbox # kb005610000 or i can replace the parts :
1) gear kb005610400
2) spline sleeve kb005611100
3) seal kbkb005610300
4) QTY. 2- gbt894.2
5) QTY. 2- kb005612700
I tore the tranny apart one time before and found a loose bolt on the shift fork? Noticed these parts worn, now it wont move in fwd or rev. I know this may be overkill, but i dont want to have to tear it down again. Also what is the cheapest clutch upgrade for my 250 Raptor or anything to give me more power? It seems like a dog.

If your stock clutch is not worn out, I would upgrade the rollers in the variator and the torque spring behind the clutch. Are you looking for more low end or do you want to keep top end speed and the buggy to be a little more responsive?

By just changing the clutch will not resolve the performance issue that you describe. The CVT can be enhanced for performance by replacing the stock rollers in the variator with weights that are lighter. This will created a quicker response. If a main spring is added to the clutch this will create a quicker downshift and keep the CVT in a lower gear longer(for climbing and such)

there are a number of clutches ranging from 100-250.00. it all depends on budget, if you want adjustablity, and riding terrain

I'd like more low end, and maybe top end. It seems like the engine is way undertuned, my lawnmower gets more RPM's than this thing. Is ther an upgade to boost RPM?
